Catherine Ringer et Fred Chichin

Biographie:

Created by the singer Catherine Ringer and the guitarist Frederick Chichin, says Fred, the group Rita Mitsouko forms in 1980. The couple in the city as in the stage had met one year before on a musical.    They begin by occurring in bars, then take out their first disc, composed of four songs of which 'Don ' t Forget the Nite '. But success is not still in date. Three years later, they record an album do not have more successes than precedent. But in 1985, the single latin rock 'Marcia Baila' is sold to a million copies. The same year, Catherine Ringer sings the original soundtrack of ' Nuit d'ivresse' of Josiane Balasko, and some years later that of the film of the Unknowns, ' Les trois frères'.                                                                              Their second album, 'The No Comprendo', is packed in tubes among which ' Les Histoires d’A ', ' Andy 'and ' C 'est comme ça'. The public appreciates their madness and their humour and of provocation and their musics in rousing air. Their third opus, ' Mark and Robert ' contains the resumption which peals out, ' The Small Train '. Seven years after their last disc, called ' Système D ', Rita Mitsouko, key group of 1980 and on 1990, reappear on the musical stage in 2000 with the Cool ' album frenzy ', then two years later with ' The Woman paper clip ', an opus which celebrates their twenty years of career. In 2007 goes out ' Variety ', unfortunately followed some weeks later by the death of Fred Chichin.                                                                                                                                                                                   To them songs speak death as in "Marcia Baila" a lot.
